1. Who is responsible for your data
Next 2 Play is a football coaching service based in Barcelona (Spain), run by Jeremy ("Next 2 Play", "we"). For anything related to your data, write to nextplaymedias@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp.
2. What data we collect
Contact details: name of the parent/guardian or adult player, phone, email and contact preferences. Player football data: name, date of birth, club, category, position, experience and training goals. Player health data: current or past injuries, allergies, medication, medical conditions and daily wellness data (energy, sleep, physical state and mood) that the player voluntarily logs in their pre-session check-in. Image rights consent: if you sign it, we store the signed PDF. We collect no online payment data: payments happen in cash or via Bizum, outside the website.
3. Players who are minors
We coach players from age 6. Data about players under 14 must be provided by their parent or legal guardian, who gives all consents on their behalf. A minor's wellness check-in and health data are only processed with the guardian's explicit consent, and are used exclusively to adapt training and keep it safe.
4. Why we use the data, and on what legal basis
To deliver the coaching service and manage bookings and sessions (performance of contract). To adapt training and look after the player's safety using health and wellness data (explicit consent, Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time. To answer your enquiries and communicate with you via WhatsApp or email (pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest). To use images of the player in Next 2 Play content (only with the signed image rights consent). We never sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
5. Where the data lives and who processes it
Data is stored in Supabase (database hosted in the European Union) and the website is served by Vercel. Both act as processors under GDPR safeguards. Direct communication happens over WhatsApp, subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy. Only Jeremy and Zoltan (the coaches) access player data.
6. How long we keep it
We keep data while the player is an active client and, afterwards, for the reasonable period needed to meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by writing to us, and we will erase it unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection, and withdraw any consent, at any time by writing to nextplaymedias@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
